Editorial and listing policy
Listings are an editorial decision based on public sources. Money does not buy a row in the directory or a framework tag.
What a listing is
A listing is a short record that quotes what a public vendor or publisher page says. It is not an endorsement, certification, ranking or recommendation. The methodology is the verification rule: if we cannot cite the page, the item is omitted.
Sponsors do not affect listings
- Sponsored placements are labeled Sponsored and sit outside the directory grid.
- A sponsor cannot add, remove, retag or rewrite a listing in exchange for payment.
- Framework and industry tags come only from the cited public page, never from a sponsorship brief.
- No sponsor is placed today. Placeholder for a future sponsor. No sponsor is placed. Sponsored placements will always be labeled and are separate from the directory listings. The sponsor media kit is the public description of a future slot. It does not invent traffic or prices.
How a tool gets listed
- Someone points us at an official URL, or we find one while researching a framework.
- We read a public page and quote the claim we can support.
- We publish the quote next to the link, with a last-verified date and any caveat.
Use the suggest a tool placeholder to send a URL after launch. That form is not connected yet.
Corrections
A corrections process will be published at launch. Until then, treat the updates page and the What changed this month digest as the public record of what changed.

Questions
Can a sponsor buy a row in the tool directory?
